BEFORE YOU SEND
Preparing your files.
A well-prepared session means more time spent on the mix rather than sorting out the exports.
24-bit WAV or AIFF
Export each part from the same starting point so the files line up correctly.
Keep the original sample rate
Send the sample rate used for the session. There is no need to convert a 48 kHz mix to 44.1 kHz.
Clearly label each export
Use names such as Kick, Bass, Lead Vocal or Guitar. Tell me whether you are sending individual tracks or grouped stems.
Include your rough mix
It helps me understand the existing balance and the character you want to keep.
Add references and notes
Include reference links, the direction you want and any deadline or release date.

STEM COUNT IS A GUIDE
Editing, vocal tuning, timing correction, restoration or unusually complex production work may require a custom quote. Tell me whether your exports are individual tracks or grouped stems.
EP, ALBUM OR REGULAR RELEASES?
Send the number of songs, session sizes and release dates. I will quote the complete project rather than treat every release as the same amount of work.
Full payment is required after you approve the quote and before mixing begins. Mastering is optional and separate from these prices.

Mixing works with the individual parts of a production to create its balance, tone and space. Mastering works on the approved stereo mix and prepares it for release.
How much does a mix cost?
A simple mix of up to 5 stems is £100; 6–15 stems is £150; and 16–30 stems is £200. Sessions with 31 or more stems start at £250. These are single-song prices. I review your files and confirm the quote before any work starts.
Do you need individual tracks or grouped stems?
Individual tracks give access to each part of the production; grouped stems combine related parts into fewer files. Tell me what you have and what needs changing, rather than grouping files just to fit a lower pricing tier. I will confirm what to send and the appropriate quote.
How long does mixing take?
Most single tracks are ready for an initial review within 3–5 business days after the files are accepted and payment is received. Larger or more complex projects may take longer. Include your release date so I can confirm the schedule before we start.
When do I pay?
I review the files and confirm the quote first. Once you approve it, the mixing fee is payable in full before work begins. Uploading files does not take a payment or confirm a booking.
Are revisions included?
One revision is included in the standard price. Send your feedback together so I can work through it as a focused revision. Further revisions or additional work are agreed and priced before I carry them out.
Is editing, tuning or restoration included?
Editing, vocal tuning, timing correction, restoration and unusually complex production work may require a custom quote. Tell me what needs attention so I can include the appropriate scope in the quote.
What if I do not know how to export stems?
Tell me which DAW you use and what you have available. I can help you work out what needs to be exported, and you can use the preparation guide linked above.
Can you mix and master the same track?
Yes. Mastering can be added for £35 per track once you approve the mix. It is optional and separate from the mixing prices, so let me know whether you need both stages.
Do you mix EPs, albums or regular releases?
Yes. Send the number of songs, approximate session sizes and release dates. I will quote the project as a whole; the single-song prices are not fixed album or EP packages.
What genres do you work with?
I work across electronic and dance music, hip-hop, rock, acoustic and other contemporary productions. Reference tracks are useful when you have a specific sound in mind.
